60/40 Polyester Epoxy Resin with Outstanding Chemical Resistance
◎Introduction
HC6040 is a saturated polyester resin, which is mainly used in 60 (polyester) / 40 (epoxy) mixed powder coating system.
Compared with traditional liquid coatings, powder coatings have the characteristics of energy-saving, environmental protection, and excellent comprehensive performance. Whether it is a powder coating raw material manufacturer, especially the main raw material polyester resin factory, or a powder coating manufacturer, it is necessary to test the performance of the powder coating. Among them, the chemical resistance of coatings, as an unconventional property, has an important influence on the protection of plates (substrates) used in highly corrosive environments.
Epoxy resin has excellent physical and mechanical properties and chemical resistance and is mostly used in anti-corrosion powder coatings. HC6040 can be well mixed with epoxy resin to make epoxy polyester powder coating, which makes the produced coating film not only have excellent leveling, and decoration, but also strong mechanical properties and chemical resistance.
