60:40 Hybrid Powder Coating Resins with Outstanding Flow and High Gloss
◇ Introduction:
HH2608 is a carboxyl polyester resin designed for 60/40 hybrid powder coatings for general purpose.
As a solvent-free coating, powder coating is economical, environmentally friendly, efficient and has excellent performance, and is welcomed by people. With the increasingly stringent requirements for environmental protection, powder coatings have developed rapidly with many advantages such as low pollution, high decoration, and good comprehensive performance, and are gradually replacing traditional solvent-based coatings. The current market of powder coatings is very extensive, and the electrical industry has also begun to use powder coatings in order to avoid the use of solvent paints. The widespread application of powder coatings benefits from the continuous research and development of powder coatings, whose performance has been improved and improved. However, the existing powder coatings are inferior to traditional paints in terms of flat effects such as leveling, clarity of gloss, and high chroma and vivid colors.
As with other coatings, changes in formulation have a decisive impact on the properties and application process of powder coatings. Wetting accelerator is added while using leveling agent, which can solve the phenomenon of insufficient leveling and gloss of paint to a certain extent, and can make high-gloss and high-leveling powder coating with mirror effect, and the color is more vivid. The same effect can be achieved for both indoor and outdoor use, and the weather resistance is not reduced but improved.
