Economic 93/7 TGIC Polyester Resin with Excellent Anti-interference Performance
◎Introduction
NH0308 is a saturated polyester resin, which is used in polyester / TGIC powder coating system and polyester / HAA powder coating system.
Shrinkage is a common problem in the use of powder coatings. They will not only affect the appearance of the product, but also seriously affect the mechanical and protective properties of the product.
Due to the existence of low surface tension droplets in the coating itself or the existence of low surface tension areas on the coated surface due to pollution, the surface tension is uneven. Under the effect of the difference in surface tension, the coating flows from the low surface tension to the high surface tension, resulting in a central hollow hole - shrinkage cavity. We attribute the uneven surface tension to the internal cause of shrinkage cavity formation. In fact, some properties of the coating itself, such as coating viscosity, thixotropy, coating drying speed and film thickness, can increase or decrease the flow ability of the coating fluid, thus increasing or decreasing the degree of shrinkage. We attribute these factors to the external causes of shrinkage. The internal cause is the necessary condition of shrinkage cavity, and the external cause can appropriately control or intensify the degree of shrinkage cavity.
The main raw material of the powder coating is polyester resin. The polyester resin with strong anti-interference property is selected, which can enhance the anti-interference and wettability of the powder to a certain extent, and eliminate pitting and shrinkage.
